COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) created the family workshop “Employment, the GOLD Standard for Inclusion” and has successfully delivered it across Canada to parents, caregivers, educators, employment professionals and other stakeholders.

The workshop provides information and inspiration about the importance of creating a society where people who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities are prepared for a future that includes meaningful paid employment.

This online module will enable you and your organization to deliver this family workshop to audiences in your community. After completing this module, you will have the tools needed to deliver this workshop to anyone who cares for and works with people who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
