Disability Awareness & Confidence Training - General Knowledge

This general learning module is designed to increase your comfort, confidence and competence in disability awareness.

By the end of this module you will gain knowledge on:

  • What does disability look like in Canada – the facts,
  • Dispelling myths that create biases and barriers for people who have a disability.
  • Case studies of businesses that have benefited from creating an inclusive workforce,
  • Use ATP (Ask the Person) considerations for any interaction.

Audience: This training is appropriate for anyone in the workforce.

Length: Approximately 30 minutes.
